After a very successful 2018 Corstorphine Fair on the 2nd June earlier this year and in line with the Fair constitution that states: ‘all excess funds are distributed to local charities and organisations’. I am delighted to announce that at the recent Committee Meeting it was decide allocate funds as detailed below.

Thank you everybody who took part in the 2018 Corstorphine Fair. Remember these funds were from donations at the gate, children rides and sponsorship, as well as the 20% donated from participating groups. After we had paid all our bills (about £18,000) we distribute the excess. The fact that the participating groups donated about £5,000 means that on the day the various stall holders raised about £20,000 for themselves. Fantastic effort, it is what gives the Fair Committee Members a warm fuzzy feeling inside and why we do it!
